Sun., Apr. 27 is Divine Mercy Sunday.: Jesus, through his revelation to St. Faustina, promised that on Divine Mercy Sunday, the very depths of His tender mercy are opened. To receive this extraordinary grace, one must: Go to Confession; receive Holy Communion and trust in His Divine Mercy. Jesus promises complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. Jesus also promises to pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the Fount of His Mercy. On Divine Mercy Sunday, a plenary indulgence is available for those who, in addition to the usual conditions (confession, communion, and prayer for the Pope), also devoutly recite the Our Father and the Creed before an image of Our Merciful Lord Jesus.  This year the Divine Mercy Service will be at St. Michael’s.  From 2-3 p.m., there will be Adoration and Confessions, and at 3 p.m. the Divine Mercy Service. The Divine Mercy Novena begins on Good Friday.  Refer to last week’s bulletin for details of the novena.

  • Welcome Message

The parish of Margaree Family of Catholic Churches welcomes you!

There is always someone to extend a helping hand to persons renewing their relationship with the Lord and the Church. People wishing to speak to a priest will always be received with compassion and understanding and a desire to extend any assistance.

Part of our Christian calling is always to help each other in the journey of faith. We pray that the Margaree Family of Catholic Churches will always be the place that people can call home and have a strong sense of belonging to our Church

“I am baptizing you with water, but one mightier than I is coming.” – Luke 3:16

The new design and layout is intended to provide the most sought-after information in the shortest amount of time while inviting new parishioners through our open doors.

Paired with our social media presence, the renewed website extends our ability to share the Gospel and keep our parishioners well informed on current parish events.

The Margaree Family of Catholic Churches would like to thank all that have contributed to the realization of this project.
