1) ALL Weekday Masses are in Margaree this week: Tuesday – Funeral Mass for Lucy
MacIntyre at St. Michael’s at 2 p.m.; Wednesday – 10 a.m. at St. Michael’s; Thursday, the
Feast of the Assumption of Mary – 6:30 p.m. at the Pioneer Cemetery in Margaree with
the intention for Theresa & Joe Cormier; Friday – 10 a.m. at St. Michael’s, and Saturday
– Funeral Mass for Cecile Chiasson at St. Michael’s at 11 a.m.
2) Margaree Highland Games started today and will continue with a Chicken Fricot Supper
beginning at 5 p.m. and a Family Square Dance from 8-12. Tomorrow, activities begin at
10 a.m.
3) An important meeting of the North East Margaree Seniors will be held on Monday at 2
p.m. at the Seniors’ Hall in Margaree Valley. The monthly Foot Clinic will be held there
on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
